Hey Girl, I'm Micaela a mother, Faith-Filled Mujer, Podcaster, and an Empowerment Coach. I founded Fearless Mujer to empower women through coaching and podcasting. I'm also the voice behind The Fearless Mujer Podcast! I love celebrating women and cheering them on as they journey into hard things like healing, and exciting things like pursuing their dreams!
You probably already knew this, but I really love Tacos!
I’m a Chicana, I grew up on the Southside of Chicago in a neighborhood called Little Village. I ate a lot of Elotes (Corn on the Cob) and Tacos when I was growing up. I seriously never get tired of Tacos. Tacos are my love language!
Girl, growing up in the hood was rough.
I struggled a lot with my identity growing up. I come from a broken and dysfunctional home and didn’t have much guidance. I had kids young and honestly, I was just trying to survive. I was suicidal and really felt that I had no purpose. I didn’t have confidence in myself or the big dreams on my heart. I tried so many different things, hoping to find the place where I was meant to lead. I sold jewelry for a few years and I was even Queen of Sales. I was also part of a financial services company where I quickly promoted, but just as quickly found out that it wasn’t for me. I was also a master at waiting tables. But even when I tried all of these things, I still felt frustrated because none of those things felt like they were right for me. The truth is that I wasn’t passionate about those jobs, and I wasn’t operating in my gifts.
But, then one day, I did the scariest thing ever – I started a faith-based podcast, and that podcast turned into a whole different brand. Through my journey, God led me to start a company “Fearless Mujer LLC”
Now I have the honor and privilege to empower Latinas through podcasting and coaching.
Amiga, I've learned that my voice is powerful, and I have a much bigger purpose, but it didn't come easy. A few years ago, my daughter revealed a painful secret. My family and I were devastated, it was so traumatic. But that painful experience that almost shattered my world is what led me to where I am now. I believe that no matter what happens in our lives there is purpose for the pain.
No matter what has happened in your life or what others have said about you, you have a beautiful purpose. Your story and your voice are powerful!
